I'm dedicated to helping you secure the right mortgage, whether you're buying your first home, refinancing to increase cashflow, or anything in-between. Most people don't understand all that goes into this, and that's ok! I’m here to provide support and expertise every step of the way.
Since 2007, I've worked in the financial industry, gaining experience in commercial banking, insurance, and financial planning. This background allows me to offer well-rounded general advice tailored to your unique situation.
I grew up in Vernon and earned a tennis scholarship to study in the US. After completing my bachelor's degree and MBA, I started my financial career in sunny Huntington Beach, CA, before returning to Canada to build my career. Now, with four young kids—three daughters in competitive club volleyball and a son in soccer—and aging parents in town, I know firsthand the challenges of juggling family, career, and personal life and can be mindful of your similar challenges when presenting you with solutions.
My wife and I have navigated rental property ownership and the financing process ourselves, so I understand from personal experience the considerations which go beyond the numbers when you’re looking at investment properties. As my parents face aging health issues, I’ve become especially focused on options that support retirees and those nearing retirement, including strategies like reverse mortgages and ways to unlock home equity while staying in the place they love.
When I'm not working, you might find me running on local streets or trails, shuttling my kids to volleyball or soccer, or making sawdust with my woodworking projects. On occasion I'll have a minute to open a book--I'd love to hear some of your favourite reads!
